We’ve spent some time trying to develop and deploy effective KM for project management (called PM KM oddly enough). PMOs see much of the “Plan > Build > Run” value chain — perhaps more than any other single function. If the project management profession is to be taken seriously, we need take advantage of that cross-value chain perspective.
I’ve uploaded a paper presented to the PMI Global Congress as a PM KM Practices Overview. I’ll spend the next couple of posts highlighting where our PMO is today.
