One of my first correspondents was the blogger Deckplate Leader (here). It was a solid, no-nonsense blog on frontline leadership by who was associated — or at least in tune with – the Master Chief Petty Officer of the US Navy. I wonder if the writer went through his/her Last 72 Hours?
It’s too bad the blog hasn’t been updated in a while. The tone and content was just right for the first time manager or supervisor.
I’ll have to ping the mailto and see what’s up.

Paul,
You are right on about Deckplate Leadership – good tone and advice. Please update the post if you hear from him – would be good to know that he is okay.
