I was on Skype with Bas de Baar yesterday when he mentioned that he didn’t know too much about the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.  Thanksgiving is a uniquely American holiday — there is a Canadian Thanksgiving Day as well — with a long and interesting history.

It is the most loved and enjoyed holiday in the United States.  Few folks break the holiday to work and those who do generally work only a few hours… and should be well tipped!.  I’ve included a couple of links for those interested:
